Within the scope of the cooperation between the Department of Educational Sciences and Demirören Media Group; Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Alim Kaya and Deputy Dean Assist. Prof. Meryem Demir Güdül came together with media professionals working in the disaster area. At the meeting held on May 2, 2023, media professionals shared their experiences in the earthquake zone. Necessary psychosocial support needs were determined and the activities to be carried out for these needs were planned.

Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program organized the "Alumni Panel" event on Tuesday, May 30. In the panel, held on the CATS platform, our alumni shared their experiences about being a school counselor, academic career processes, working in a counseling center, being a psychological counselor in a social service center and working in the field of neuroscience with our students.

Students of the Program of Guidance and Psychological Counseling made their presentation “Choosing a Profession in Career Planning” on November 30, 2022, for the tenth grade students at Kültür College, which is a practice school within the scope of the “RPD 7010 - RPD Practices in Schools I” course. The participants took great interest in the event where professions were introduced within the framework of career planning and field selection.
