“FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY PRACTICES IN OUR COUNTRY: COURTHOUSES AND PRISONS”

A conference titled "Forensic Psychology Practices in Our Country: Courthouses and Prisons" was held at the Basın Ekspres Campus Seminar Hall on Friday, November 26, in cooperation with the IKU PDR Club and Department of Educational Sciences. Psychologist Yasemin Mısırlı Altınbalık and Psychological Counselor & Pedagogue Büşra Kazan Yüksel attended the conference, which was coordinated by Specialist Doctor Nedim Havle. In the event, students and academic staff were informed about forensic psychology applications.

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES HAD A MEETING WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELORS IN PRACTICE SCHOOLS

Within the scope of the "RPD Practice in Schools 1" course, a meeting was held with the psychological counselors in the practice schools on Friday, November 12 at 16.30 in the 3rd floor multi-purpose seminar hall of Ataköy campus by the Department of Educational Sciences. With the meeting held under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Alim Kaya and Assist. Prof. Meryem Demir Güdül, information was shared to increase university-school cooperation.

Community Service Practices 1st Sharing Days

The İstanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Faculty of Education Department of Educational Sciences organized the Community Service Practices 1st Sharing Days event on October 27, 2017.

Darüşşafaka Society Corporate Communication Unit Specialist Bahar Paykoç, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feyza Doyran made a presentation about “Equal Opportunities in Education” to raise awareness.

The role of school counselor candidates in community service practices was discussed.
